DC Healthy Start is teaming up with DC Library to encourage fatherhood involvement and promote early childhood literacy. We would like to invite fathers with children 5 & under to participate in reading workshops with their children, learn knowledgeable parenting skills, and take home books and other incentives to further develop a positive relationship between father and child.These learning and experiences that children engage in before entering school are not only crucial to preparing them for years of success, but also aid in assessing any learning deficiencies a child might encounter down the road.
